Tag lessons with reference terms

Every lesson can now be attached to a small set of reference terms: named concepts, people, or events that give learners quick background without leaving the lesson page.

Terms come from a shared vocabulary that grows as educators use it, plus a live Wikipedia search for anything not yet in that vocabulary — pick an article and it's attached with a link and preview.

We're starting with a conservative default set per lesson, scored automatically from its title and description. You can always add or remove terms from the lesson page.

My students loved the hands-on part. The exit ticket gave me exactly the formative data I needed. Highly recommend.

The wrap-up prompt produced the best written responses I have had from this class all year.

This is now a staple in my unit. The progression from hook to wrap-up feels natural and easy to follow.

Sixty-five minutes matches my experience too. I now split it across two shorter periods.
